Overview

STEMSet represents an innovative approach to STEM education that combines learning with environmental sustainability. By creating robotics kits from recycled electronic components, we provide affordable, engaging educational tools while addressing electronic waste challenges in Ghana.

The Problem

Ghana generates significant electronic waste that often ends up in landfills, while schools struggle to afford expensive STEM equipment. Traditional robotics kits are costly and inaccessible to most Ghanaian schools, limiting students' exposure to hands-on technology education.

Our Solution

Our circular economy approach includes: collection and refurbishment of electronic waste, design of educational robotics kits using recycled components, comprehensive curriculum and teacher training materials, student workshops on sustainability and technology, and community awareness programs on e-waste management.
